We are very pleased about the great rating of our winery in the Gault & Millau 2025 wine guide with 3 red grapes for the first time and thus as outstanding in the 3 grape range 🍇🍇🍇!!!

Our wines from the 2022 vintage were rated particularly well here. Our top Pinot Noirs such as Ahrweiler Silberberg, Rosenthal and Sonnenberg as well as our Frühburgunder Alte Reben all received 4 grapes and are therefore among the “national leaders”.

We are particularly pleased with the ratings for our wines in the Fallstaff Germany Wine Guide 2025 this year. The Max Schell winery was awarded two stars here and we also received excellent wine ratings.

The 2022 Grand Max “S” Ahrweiler Rosenthal stands out here with 94 points and we are also very proud of the 93+ points for our 2022 Ahrweiler Silberberg. In addition, our 2022 Sonnenberg Spätburgunder, 2022 PULSAHR Spätburgunder and our 2022 Frühburgunder Alte Reben were all also awarded over 90 points.

We are delighted to have been awarded 2.5 stars and thus for the first time as a “very good winery” in Eichelmann 2025.

It is a pleasure to see that the hard work and attention to detail are worthwhile and are being recognized accordingly.

We have been awarded 3 stars as a classified producer by wein.plus, Europe's best-known wine platform.

The gourmet magazine “Der Feinschmecker” has once again named us one of the best wineries in Germany in 2025.

Our 2020 Grand Max “S” Pinot Noir took 1st place in the “Pinot Noir up to 39.99 euros” category and the 2021 Grand Max also took 1st place in the “Pinot Noir up to 19.99 euros” category.

We are delighted to have received another award in this year's prestigious “Ahr Wine of the Year” competition.

Our Pinot Noir 2022 was awarded 2nd place in the “Best Classic” category.

This year, our PULSAHR Riesling feinherb took first place in the “Best Riesling” category in the “Ahr Wine of the Year” awards.
