2021 Recher Portugieser Quality wine, dry

Description

This Portugieser grows directly within sight of our winery in the Recher Herrenberg vineyard. The vines in this vineyard are already over 30 years old, giving the grapes a particularly intense aroma.

With just 11% alcohol, the 2021 vintage is a pleasantly light and fruity Portugieser with a mild tannin structure thanks to 12 months of ageing in used barrique barrels. The particularly beautiful berry fruit is reminiscent of raspberry and sour cherry.

Vinification method: Classic mash fermentation, matured for 12 months in used wooden barrels.
