A very low yield and very ripe, small Pinot noir berries were required for this wine.
Vinification method: Fermented 100% in a roll fermenter (900- litre oak barrel), matured 21
months in new barriques.
This wine is dark ruby red with violet tints and sparkles in the glass. On the nose it develops
a very lively fruit bouquet, with ripe red berries, elderberries, underpinned by a wonderful
roasted aroma. On the palate the wine is fruity, juicy, with perfectly integrated lively acidity,
as well as a firm tannin structure. The finish is dominated by dried fruits, dates, figs and a
hint of liquorice. It is a complex wine with a long finish, suitable for keeping.
