Five out of five stars for the Weingut Max Schell.
The founder of the International Wine Institute, Alexander Kohnen, awarded the Max Schell Winery with the 2014 Grand Max Pinot Noir dry, five stars and the rating "Particularly Recommended".
The certificate of honour was presented in the presence of Carsten Sebastian Henn, journalist and editor-in-chief of Gault Millau. "The price and quality of this Spätburgunder are very good," said Henn. "We will use the 2014 Grand Max as a gift for our national and international guests of honour," says Kohnen. "With its high quality, the wine reflects the Ahr region in an excellent way," Kohnen continues.
